IED Blast

Eight people have been confirmed de@d after terrorists set off an improvised explosive device (IED) along Luma Road in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.

According to reports, the explosive struck a moving vehicle on Monday.

The terrorists also reportedly destroyed a bridge linking three communities – Luma, Babanna and Agwara.

The bridge serves as a vital route for residents, particularly traders and commuters travelling to the Babanna border market, which holds every Monday.

Earlier Tori News reported a similar explosion, on Monday, in Woro, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, where several persons were feared k!lled.
